Lou Perrine Sr.

Lou Perrine’s Gas and Groceries started in 1954 right here in Kenosha. Our father and grandfather, Lou Sr., first opened a small full service Clark station on the corner of 52nd street and Sheridan road. It was back in the good ol’ days when someone pumped your gas, checked your oil, and cleaned your windshield all at once. Lou Sr. was known for his smiling face and great customer service. Lou’s son, Lou Jr., entered the business during high school. While working for his father, Lou Jr. not only learned the business, but also met his future wife, Laurie. Unfortunately, Lou Sr. became sick on Christmas Eve in 1984.

In 1985, the Perrine family lost Lou Sr. to cancer. At this time Lou Jr. took over the business. Over time, Lou Jr. turned the small full service gas station into what you see here today. Lou revolutionized the gas station business by becoming the first ever gas station to have a McDonald's inside of it. In 2001 Lou’s son, Anthony, entered the family business. We are now three generations strong and proud to serve our community! Please stop in at anytime and introduce yourself.
